ISLAMABAD :Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalized its nationwide protest strategy under the banner of Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aain-e-Pakistan (Movement for the Protection of Pakistan’s Constitution), set to be launched today (Tuesday).

According to party insiders, all PTI MNAs and Senators have been called to Islamabad and will demonstrate outside Adiala Jail, where the party’s founder Imran Khan is currently detained. Simultaneously, PTI members of provincial assemblies will lead protests in their respective constituencies to maximize regional participation and visibility.

The party’s central leadership, following consultations with provincial presidents and chief organizers, has finalized protest details. PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja will oversee the movement and ensure nationwide coordination. Regional protest schedules from Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab have already been submitted to the central office.

Security has been tightened around Adiala Jail ahead of the demonstrations, with authorities preparing for large crowds.

Senior PTI leader and former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, while speaking to media earlier, emphasized that the protests will remain peaceful and within the limits of the constitution and law. He reiterated that August 5, the day Imran Khan was arrested two years ago, will be observed as a “Black Day.”

Qaiser demanded the immediate release of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi on bail, stating that this is their constitutional right. He criticized the judiciary, claiming it is under government pressure and not functioning independently.

He further announced that PTI supporters will carry the national flag, party flags, and white peace flags during today’s demonstrations as a symbol of constitutional protest and political resolve.
