National Skills University Islamabad (NSU) is celebrating a landmark moment in its brief but impactful journey—final-year Civil Engineering Technology student Eisha Zahra has won a fully funded Chinese Government CSC Scholarship to pursue her Master’s at Zhejiang University, ranked 49th in the QS World University Rankings 2025. She becomes the first NSU student to secure an international scholarship before graduation.
Founded less than a decade ago and led by visionary Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, NSU has evolved from a neglected structure to a globally recognized skills-oriented university. Eisha’s selection marks not only a personal milestone but also highlights the quality and potential of Pakistan’s skills-based higher education model.
Prof. Mukhtar noted, “This is not just Eisha’s success—it is Pakistan’s success. NSU was envisioned to turn education into real opportunity, and that dream is now a reality.”
Eisha’s achievement reflects NSU’s growing academic stature, particularly under the leadership of Dr. Muhammad Habib, Chairperson of the Civil Engineering Technology Department, which is equipping students with industry-relevant skills and global competitiveness.
With this accomplishment, NSU continues to position itself as a model for modern, innovation-driven education in Pakistan and South Asia—proving that with the right training, vision, and global partnerships, Pakistani students can compete and thrive on the world stage.
