Rawalpindi: Provincial Women Ombudsman Punjab Nabila Hakim Ali Khan paid a surprise visit to Rawalpindi Women University. She visited various departments of the university and reviewed the anti-harassment measures. She inquired about the code of conduct regarding anti-harassment from the university administration. The vice-chancellor informed the provincial women ombudsman Punjab about the anti-harassment committee.
The provincial women ombudsman Punjab directed to display banners at various places regarding anti-harassment. Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Woman Ombudsman Punjab Nabila Hakim Ali Khan said that the biggest challenge is to provide awareness to women regarding their protection. If women are aware of their rights, they will protect themselves. Banners should be displayed in various places regarding the code of conduct for anti-harassment in educational institutions. The provincial women ombudsman Punjab said that the protection of women is the first priority , no harassment will be allowed. Practical steps are being taken to provide protection to housewives, working women and students.
